Hi,
A question from a newbie..

1) I ripped my DVD "ITs a wonderful life" using smart ripper
2) Edited using IFOEdit
3) Burnt DVD using PowerCDR express.

The tutorial I used said, burn the DVD using "DVD DATA" option after you have both AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders.

After i finished, the DVD now is not being recognized by the drive itself.

when i do "Analyze DVD", it shows SESSION(1) open. I think thats the problem.

I cant use the close session/CD option on the POWERCDR as it generates a exception and closes.

how do I go about solving this problem ...

I am using TRITTON Tech drive, and the DVD+R i am using is the "Free" DVD that has come with the DVD Drive.

DO let me know please ... !
Thanks...

Cant help you with that burning software, but I can suggest an alternative.

Use img tools to create an image of the AUDIO_TS amd VIDEO_TS folders and burn it with DVD Decryptor. Its in the IFOEdit guides somewhere.

Oh yeah, practice your first few burns with RW media, you can do it over and over till you are happy with the results then pop it on a DVD R

Even better is to use new version of ImgTools 0.99.x which allows you to burn DVD directly. There is no need of making image before burning. Give it a try:D.

True, but I think you need to have Nero installed to do it that way.

You´re right. In fact you need to install demo of Nero at least - but it´s free anyway...
