I have a reproducable problem using DVDx and TMPGenc using 2 passes
(VBR) and the videoserver. In both cases (with different DVDs) where I have encountered this problem it was the second half of the DVD that I wanted to encode.
The encoding process stopped after 50% that means after the first
pass. Of course I have checked multi-pass in DVDx 2.0 and the
newest version of tmpgenc. DVDx and the videoserver crashed while tmpgenc was waiting for data.
I have already successfull encoded with DVDx in 2 passes but always
with the first half of the DVD (the first chapters).
Is it possible that DVDx makes a mistake in counting the number of frames when using the costom chapter setting? The same problem occured, regardsless whether I used the number of frames for the chapters or used whole for the maximum number of frames.
Did someone have the same problem? Does someone have a solution?
Best regards,
Donald
