DVD2one - test report correction !

I have reported that DVD2one uses a mirrored matrix from the mpeg default one:
Intra
8,16,19,22,22,26,26,27,
16,16,22,22,26,27,27,29,
19,22,26,26,27,29,29,35,
22,24,27,27,29,32,34,38,
26,27,29,29,32,35,38,46,
27,29,34,34,35,40,46,56,
29,34,34,37,40,48,56,69,
34,37,38,40,48,58,69,83

The default matrix recommended from the MPEG Organization looks like this:

8,16,19,22,26,27,29,34,
16,16,22,24,27,29,34,37,
19,22,26,27,29,34,34,38,
22,22,26,27,29,34,37,40,
22,26,27,29,32,35,40,48,
26,27,29,32,35,40,48,58,
26,27,29,34,38,46,56,69,
27,29,35,38,46,56,69,83

So that's what I meant about mirroring ;)


Now further tests have shown that DVD2one always correctly uses the same matrices as used in the original vobs.
In my test the complete PAL LOTR SEE DVDs were used - and guess what :)
Correct - the DVDs use the strange 'mirrored' matrix as well :eek:

So my remark about blurring as a result of a wrong used matrix is definitely not correct.

I changed that in my report and truly apologize for any inconvenience Edwin van den Berg maybe had (I think of some questions from users about this 'bug')

So I corrected that in my report (with red colour).

Thanks for the update, always appreciate that sort of willingness to publicize the error. I am sure a lot of DVD2One users are happy.
