Q: What software DVD players work with DVDMaestro…TIA
I also have another question about SpruceUp, wondering if there is a way to create a menu in SpruceUp and somehow save it for use with DVDMaestro. I am having a hell of a time with Photoshop and layers for buttons :(

ONLY Ravisent Cinemaster (NOT Cineplayer!!). You can use Cinemaster 98/99/2000
There is also the option of using the hardware Sigma Netstream card, but then I assume you are asking about software-only solutions.
Don't wish to nag, but please use the SEARCH funtion!! This question has been answered innumerable times in the past.

No, this is not possible (well, not unless you compiled your SpruceUP project and then used SubRIP to demux your backgrounds and subpics from the VOBs, which, to be honest, is a seriously inefficient way of going about authoring. Much better to learn to do it properly)
Using Photoshop really isn't all that difficult once you get used to it, though. If you are struggling with using layers in Photoshop, then remember that you do not have to use layers within Photoshop - you can also simply create two single layers, seperately, one-at-a-time, import them into Maestro seperately, and then lay one on top of the other within the Maestro menu editor. The only reason everyone uses the layers option within Photoshop is that it is supposed to save you time.
