Problem with Anamorphic PAL

hi,

I've got a problem with my last backup (K-PAX - PAL) I lose the anamorphic. In my TV i've got 4 Black lines (2 pairs) 1 pair in a black and another pair in another black (more clairly).

I usually use the same method : DVD2AVI, VFAPI + CEE (DAR 16:9) and with MAESTRO i use 16:9 LETTERBOX.

What is the solution to keep the good aspect ratio ???

if the source was animorphic, then it should be fine (and is probably a 2.40:1 aspect). if the source was 16:9 letterbox in a 4:3 frame, then you need to encode and author at the 4:3 settings.
