Picture turn white after playing with brightness

After installing the new 5.03 version I found out that I cannot change the brightness in the decoding options. If I change it to anything else than the default 0 then then picture turn all white. Am I the only one with that problem?

I also have another problem with the decoding menu. It's all wrong :) Check the attachment and you'll understand why I mean by wrong. The two slidebar are overlapping each other. Anyway not a big deal.
