Which build?

Hi,
i've always used DivX, but seem as xvid is being mentioned more and more I think i'll give it a go :) Trouble is, I'm rather confused with all the builds floating around! Which is the best one to use? I'd rather stability over options, which is the most stable build that allows b-frames?

Hi,
I personally use Koepi's (http://roeder.goe.net/~koepi/) builds, both stable and development.
There is also Nic's (http://nic.dnsalias.com/) Xvid and uManiac's (http://xvid.hopto.org/) Xvid.
It's really a matter of taste.

Iago's (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36915) document on 2-pass encode's is a good start.
