Surround in DVD2SVCD ?

Does anyone of you have a Phlilips 612 DVD and has managed to output Dolby Surround on the digital coaxial output? Every time I play a SVCD, I only get sound through my TV, not the reciever... Too bad. I can live with the loss of 5.1, but surround would be nice...?

do a search there's plenty of threads on this already. secondly, this is no fault of dvd2svcd if you're player doesn't play mpeg 5.1 sound.
