AVI2SVCD I need some help

When I am using dvd2svcd to make my svcd's from avi files I use TMPGenc.

The problem I have come accross a lot of times is that somewhere in the middle of a film you might get

could not decompress frame 107751 and it stays that way for the rest of the film.

I know you can cut these frames out but what if they are more of them it could take ages to find them all.

Can you suggest some ideas

you could try avidefreeze befoure encoding the avi file , it might help because as far as i can " guess " it seams to be a frezed frame.

Also have a look at this guide (http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/111846.php), and after that see the guides at doom9. You'll be surprised :)

You seem to have a problem with reading here.
First you posted in the wrong forum as all problems belong in basics.
