I've looked through a bunch of the guides and posts and haven't been able to find anything on this. I'm trying to transcode "The Simpsons" (Season 1, Disc 1, Region 1) to fit onto 1 dvd. I followed a guide I found in a thread (Jdobbs, maybe?) and have gotten everything ok so far, but I can't figure out how to create a playlist in Maestro. I'm to the point where I've imported the chapters, and the guide says to do this:

"7.5. Referring back to the informational text file (step 2.4) named “MULTIPGC-MAESTRO-README.TXT” you will see which chapters should be added to which playlist. Also make sure you create them in the correct order (regardless of what chapters are involved). It isn’t unusual at all to have chapters 5-7 in Playlist 1 and chapters 1-4 in Playlist 2… In our example I will add one chapter to Playlist1 (the last chapter at 00:39:23:07 that represents PGC_1). All the other chapters will be added to Playlist 2 which represents PGC_10)"

Where on Earth do I go in Maestro to make a playlist?

The Playlist Editor button is found in the lower-right section of each DVD Movie window. Clicking on this button opens the Playlist Editor that opens up “on top” of the DVD Movie Timelines. (You can drag the splitter bar between the windows or click on the Audio Timeline’s Collapse Timeline button to reveal the Playlist Editor button, should it be hidden from view or should you wish to view more of it.)

if you need any more help using playlists, bigskank, then ask away - they're a remarkably simple-yet-powerful facet of Maestro.
