Converting divx with ac3 audio to dvd-r

I have a movie encoded in divx 3.11 and the audio is encoded in ac3 audio. I want to burn this to a dvd-r to play on my tv. I tried using Tmpegenc to encode it into mpeg2, but tmpegenc wont recoginze ac3 audio. How can i do this and still preserve the ac3, digital audio?

Try saving just the video stream using nandub and feeding that into tmpgenc.
