I have read lots of feedback concerning Nero and problems in writing to DVD formats. I use the latest version of Nero (keep it updated as updates come out) and have had nothing but success with everything I have burned. The only failures have been a result of MY mistakes and Nero warned me ahead of time and I proceeded anyway. I have also used DVDdcrypter for burning single layer disc with 100% success which I have heard is based on or is Roxio burning software (which I also have). I have another burning software called B's Gold that came with my Ricoh RW 5120A DVD +RW drive that I did not install (read some early bad reports on it) but I was wondering if anyone has tried it and what the results have been.
I think the biggest part of my satisfaction with the burning results is my DVD player (Pioneer DV-C36) But others with inexpensive players have played the disks on theirs with good results as well.
Because of what I have read I keep waiting for Nero to fail but I am not about to give up on perfection at the moment!!
