Loop under Windows 2000 ?

Hi,
first my environment: Duron 1200, 384 MB, 40 G Disk,
Geforce 4200 with video in/out, Windows 2k, SP3, Avisynth 2.07

In the past, I have used the same setup with Windows ME.
Using there worked pretty well. Then I switched to
W2k, SP3 and the problems started.

Imagine the fooling most simple script:

Version()

When I opened it with mplayer2 (V 6.4) under Windows ME, it
gave the expected result. Doing the same under W2k, nothing
happens. Opening the task manager and looking at the processes,
I see that mplayer2 takes 99% of CPU, but nothing happens (not
the expected picture on mplayer2). The only way to stop it is
to kill it with task manager.

Any hint - or better: fix - would by greatly appreciated.

Did you upgrade to Win2k or reinstall? If the former, I'd try reinstalling Avisynth and WMP. Does it work in VDub?

Thanks for your suggestion, however, I did a full install
of W2k from scratch. And no, it does not work in VD as well.

Try removing everything from your plugin directory if you haven't already.
