suggestion about subtitle positioning handling

This a suggestion to dvd2svcd and if it's too much trouble don't bother please :)
When you select a position number for displaying the subtitles, the first subtitle line will appear at that position and the rest below. Wouldn't be better to put the second subtitle line at the selected position and put the first line above (making the same procedure for a third subtitle line). It would make the subtitle positioning a more standard way.

Because I think I may not been too clear before I will try to explain in a more pratical way.
Supposing we have subtitles with 2 lines, the second line will appear at the bottom of the screen and the first will be placed above the second but when a subtitle with 1 line comes up it will appear not at the bottom but at the same position as the first line when we have a 2 line subtitle.
Wouldn't be better to place the subtitles always at the bottom to disturbe less the picture?
