Windows XP pre.SP2 setup?

I`ve found something that seems to be pre SP2 setup,some guys from WinFuture (http://www.winfuture.de/web/index.php?inhalt=run/news/news.showem.php&ID=7524) gathered all fixes for upcoming WinXP sp2,and made setup.

This is list of fixes that this unofficial pre sp2 contains:

phew 66.2 MB - I'm currently downloading it (found it on their website and was quite surprised you mentioned it here)...

this unofficial pre sp2 (v1.0) contains all fixes until the 22. January. As far as I know they're willing to release two new versions soon.

a) v1.09, which is just an upgrade from v1.0 containing all releases after the 22nd (download-size should be relativly small) and

b) v1.1 - and again all fixes in one pack

...how to install:

1. unpack the .rar file
2. in the unpacked folder you'll find a .bat - just start the .bat
3. follow the instructions of the setup

done!! ;)

to suit their 'customers' www.winFuture.de will release pre sp2 packs until microsoft will release the official one

and keep in mind what The Edge said... install on own risk

- I'm currently downloading the german version - date 26.01.03 - [wfxpup_deu_v1.0]

... I'd really like to know the difference
