Hi all! I whould test divx 5.0.3 encoding with dvd2avi 1.77.3. When i complete mutipass 1pass, i obtain a file log (divx.log) empty, i don't think this is normal... or not??

no one uses dvd2avi to encode to avi.

use dvd2avi to make a project, then use avisynth to treat that project and open the avisynth script in virtualdub to encode.
or use gknot if you don't know how to handle things.
read the guides for instance.
such questions are not really wished here

why i can't use dvd2avi to encode to avi?? I always used it...

An alternative:

1) Create a project with DVD2AVI
2) Create a AVI from the project with VFAPIConv
3) Use VirtualDub to create your real AVI.
