Small Lenght. Why? [Archive]

I am trying to encode a dvd with simple divx and i know that the movie has to be encoded on 29fps (because after encoding the movie on flask when i merge the ac3 sound with the movie, the video and the audio only match when on 29fps) but when on simple divx i select 29fps the final movie gets a lower lenght. (plays too fast).

What i am doing wrong?

I´ve tried to use flask, the lenght was normal on 29fps, but i think that simple divx gives a great quality.

oh and if you want to have a recommendation: switch to gordianknot!
as doom9 puts it: it's lightyears better and only slightly harder to use!

Download GordianKnot. Read the guides through a couple of times. Follow the steps, and be amazed at how much better your rips come out looking. I used Flask until I found GKnot and realized how big of a piece of crap Flask is. (the rips don't even compare!)

flask is actually a pretty good proggie! its jsut the method of encoding that is often associated with flask that sucks..
