Wipe effect in scenarist

I would like to animate a time bar in a subpicture using wipe effect. The problem is: in this subpicture has a 3 buttons too. I tried to place the buttons and wipe effect in the time bar but the program show the following message:

"Fade, scroll and wipe effects does not allow for highlight".

I think I can answer this one, as my memory is still fresh on the topic, having played with this 2 days ago at some length.

The special effect is not compatible with buttons...AT THE SAME TIME... however, if you move the highlight track a few seconds downstream, you can have the wipe effect display for a few seconds, before the buttons activate (at which point the wipe effect would stop).

To get more than one color, you'll need to have those three primary colors in your original subpict file and then map them to the colors you want actually displayed. Pretty slick effect.

hello guys..can you guys explain those Fade,Scroll and wipe effect in Sccenarist again for me ?? Sorry I don't get it...please explain in plain english...I have the same error as mentioned above...so please explain to me..thankss....
