dvdmaestro installation problem in xp pro

hi
got serious installation problem with maestro
it refuses to beinstalled in xp pro ...with NTFS. it tells me that it requires NT?
is it possible to install it though in xp

Had no problems installing version 2.9 on my XP pro NTFS partition.

Are you logged on as an administrator?

right click on the setup.exe and hit properties go to compatibility.
put a check in the "run this program in compatibility mode for:windows nt 4.0 (servise pack 5 )"
it should install without a any further problems
