Hi,
I currently watch my DVD, DivX, and other video files using PowerDVD and WinDVD Platinum. With DVDs, SVCDs, and other video with 5.1 encoded sound, the center channel sound volume seems to be a bit low. It makes it hard to hear dialogue but if I turn the master volume up in order to hear the spoken dialogue, then the other channels get too loud. For example, to make the spoken dialogue loud enough to hear with the master volume turned up, causes the volume to be way too loud when there is an explosion or other loud sound.
My question is if there is a way to increas only the center channel speaker, and keep the other channels the same.
I have a Sound Blaster Audigy card with Creative 5.1 speakers. I am only using Creatives newest Audigy drivers without the installation CD. (my card was OEM) Thank you for your replies.
