First of all thanks to the makers of dvd2svcd for this wonderfull program is really great :)
I would like to sugest a new feature why not have the possibility of using several avi (divx) files ? I'm saying this because right now I've several episodes of the simpsons and it would be nice to save at least 2 per cd.
By the way anybody can recomend me any tool to merge two files.

this would just add one more complication...i think this can be done manually very easily in virtual dub.
open the first avi file, then choose append video segment and insert the second one, and then save avi and choose the final output avi name of your choice.

The way I do this is to set the CD size in the bitrate tab to 400 for anything up to 50 mins video length and disable image creation.
That way you get a bbmpeg muxed file of around 400mb as the final output file. Convert each of your episodes to these half-disc-sized files
Then you can use Nero, TSCV or VCDEasy to author the SVCD manually, the first two giving you the facility to put a simple menu on the front end. You will be able to fit 2 of these 400mb files with menu on an 80 minute disc.
