I have a strange problem with sound volume when playing dvds in windows media player. when I play dvds in wmp 8, 9 or 6 mod classic xp, the sound volume is low, I have to turn the sound on my loudspeakers to the maximum. this is strange, because sound volume is set to maximum on windows (in the sound control panel). with other files I have no problems: when playing ogg, wav, midi, mp3s, divx, MS mpeg4, mpeg 1 or standalone mpeg 2 files in wmp, sound volume is ok, when I play dvds in Hollywood+ software sound volume is also ok, when I play dvds in the intervideo windvd programme sound volume is also ok, but when I play dvds in wmp using intervideo decoders, sound volume is low. the sound is set to maximum in wmp and all other files confirm that.
