Help needed pls!!! [Archive]

After I install DivX 5.03, my Xvid filter (XviD-04102002-1) is screwed up. Whenever I play a Xvid movie, the picture shakes!!! I tried to uninstall DivX 5.03 and install back 5.02 but the result is still the same. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks for any help :)

My "solution" would be to install ffdshow and have it decode everything :)

Thanks. I tried to do that but the result was worse. The picture still shakes and the visual quality is worse than before :(

I totally agree with -h. Are you sure there's not something else going wrong there? You can try "ffdshow-20030103.exe" btw.

Just wanted to say that i dont have any problems with xvid after installing divx5.0.3!

but try nic's latest standalone decoder (http://www.roeder.goe.net/~koepi/XviD-Dec-291202.exe)

perhaps you will get more answers if you choose a more expressive thread title!
