i have a dvstorm2 pro, and i cannot get it to record any audio in virtualdub! I need to be able to switch what source vdub records, how do i do this? thankyou

You need to change your audio recording source for Windows.

Double click on the speaker icon in your system tray (like if your are adjusting volume

Click on the Options menu item

Select Properties

Click on the Recording radio button in the Adjust volume for field

Make sure that your input source (line in/mic/other) is checked and click on OK

You should see several recording volume controls with a check box option at the bottom of each. Make sure that the one that you are using (I use Line In for capturing) is checked and that the volume is at an appropriate level.

i dont have the tray icon, unfortunetly my sound blaster audigy2 platinum isnt as good as i would have hoped, really buggy drivers and programs, but i think i will be able to find that somewhere, thankyou
