Welcome to Doom9 Forums and the wonderful world of capping, i'll be your british Zen Master for capturing. Here's how I may help you.

You need Need, a SCART Break-Out box (turn's SCART into Composite) *unless your sky has a Composite/S-Video line out" - wire it up to your VIVO card (I have basically the same GF4 - my old method) - Thats it.

Wire the composite to the VIVO and get a PHONO>Minijack to get the audio from the red/white sockets on the back of the sky box to the PC through ure soundcard. iuVCR will let you set the source... Get 1.22 nVidia WDM Capture Drivers (if newer, grab em and tell us about it).

Use VirtualDUB or iuVCR to capture, codecs, use HuffYUV - PicVIdeo, XVID - huff, lossless, XVID/PicVIdeo (at high rates)=pretty good.

leadtek usually have the newest nvidia capture drivers - though they call them "winfast myvivo" drivers, it is in fact the nvidia wdm package
