I've burned many DVDs with my pioneer drive and suddenly the drive is not detected by windows XP. If i goto the device manager it tells me that the driver may be damaged and that I find an updated driver. I cant find one! If i uninstall and reinstall the drive in windows, even restarting.... it detects and attempts to install the drive but never finishes. I am wondering if windows update screwed the drivers up.
Is this a driver problem and if so, where can I find some drivers?!
any help is appreciated. Im not computer illiterate when it comes to hardware but i just cant figure this out and was wondering if anybody else is having this problem perhaps due to a recent windows update for XP.
