lost last 8 minutes on each disk avi2svcd

hi i hope i post this right i have a hp pavillion xt375 with a pentium4 2.4 gig win xp i am sure there is a thread out there but i have looked for the last few days but i am prob not using the right keywords or something anyway
i used avi2svcd and it worked great except i lost about 8 minutes of the end of the first disk and about 2 on the second and i had the bitrate set to to 60 minutes for 1 disk oh and the movie was already split into 58 minutes on the first and 52 on the second part and if i can ask another question
i am trying to do dvd2svcd and only do the first chapter to test and burned on cdrw and it worked on mhy computer but when i put it in my stand alone(daewoo ds2500) it says no disk if someone could help me with the settings that would be great and if i asked theese questions wrong i am sorry,

This was probably the wrong forum; you would be better off, I think, reposting your question in DVD2SVCD Basics, or perhaps, Newbies.

You didn't ask the questions wrongly -- except for the lack of punctuation or capitalization -- just perhaps in the wrong place.
