I found an XviD Codec that i called XviD Codec by ViTE.
About is: Nov 27 2002, Vanilla CVS Build, Core version 2.1.
Is this the solution to their high quality 1 cd rip?
Or does it still an appz/settings problem for us?
And geez, they encode their movie to ~750kbps....
What do u guys think about this?

My guess is they simply compiled the 11-27 CVS snapshot and called it XviD by ViTe.
You will have pretty much the same codec if you simply download uManiac's stable build which is from the same date. This means they are not using the experimental options (B-frames, Qpel, etc.).

I agree with worms. I doubt they are able to alter the codec so it produces even better results if they release sh*tty rips that often :p
Most probably you got it of some p2p app, where people tend to give their files hilarious names.

I have not seen any b-frames in a scene release (including ViTE), although admittedly I havent checked them all. I think they stick to the stable releases.

I doubt they changed anything in the source code.
Of course, we could just ask them for the source for the codec they are distributing, which is something they agreed to do under the terms of the GPL.

Have a look at their lotr rel. 3 freeze frames and audio desynch. How can you even produce freeze frames with xvid? I never managed to produce such an error :P
But as this is not a warez board, i'll stop commenting on this matter.

Quite agree. No talk of warez and piracy on this forum, guys. Sorry, but: closed.
