*.m2v to *.mpg

hi guys! does anybody know if it possible to change *.m2v to *.mpg?
(pinnacle use this format 7& *.avi only!)

"m2v" is the file extension for MPEG-2 elemetary video streams. If you want to get an mpg (program stream) file, you need to mux with an audio file (m2a or mp2). There are several tools available for muxing MPG program streams, e.g. bbMPEG, or the MPEG tools in TMPGEnc.
