How do I Demux an SVCD mpg with CVD subs muxed in?

I bought a Norcent DP300 recently, for my bedroom. I still have my Apex AD660. The Norcent is wonderful for the price I paid, unfortunately it doesn't handle multiple audio streams on SVCD's (DVD's - yes), and it freezes a couple minutes into playing anything I encoded with CVD subs.

It plays SVCD's fine with multiple audio tracks, like commentaries and such, it just won't switch to them (which is fine since my Apex switches like a charm). So I don't care about that.

What's driving me nuts is how to demux an mpeg with CVD subs. TMPGEnc will NOT do this, even after I've converted the mpg off the CD from "DAT" format to "true" mpg, with VCDEasy.

Am I missing something? Please help, any ideas at all would be kindly appreciated.

Thank you needle... this works wonderfully.

I actually tried DVMPeg before, but since a watermark was thrown up on every mpeg I tried to view on my PC, I just uninstalled it. It doesn't add a watermark when demuxing files though. :-)

So I reinstalled it yesterday when I saw your reply pointing me to that thread. I can live with the watermark since I've only a few discs to fix anyway. PLUS, I can demux straight from the CD, no need for a RIFF header conversion!

In order to avoid the watermark, you can demux with demuxone and then remux the streams with bbmpeg, bbtools or
Iauthor muxer. Notice that the Iauthor muxer produces mpeg output when the PS option is activated.
