Re-encoding bin file

Hi all i made myself a copy of Any Given Sunday, it came out to be 3 cds but there is a problem with the cue sheet for the third cd, i have tried to fix it but would rather reencode this file if possible and burn again. I had originally encoded with chapters but i dont mind if i lose the chapters for the last section of the movie. Sorry if this type of question has been asked befo but i have done a search and have not come up with an answer to my question.

Is it possible to do this?

A bin file is not an encodable file. You must extract the mpg from it. I am not sure, but I think ISO buster does this.

If the problem is the CUE file then that is just a text file. Simply look at a good one and you will see how it's written. Then simply write a new one.

Markrb's solution is fine, but I have another way you can do with out re-encoding. Get vcdeasy (www.vcdeasy.org) and use it's extraction fuction. You will get a MPEG file. After, convert the MPEG to the standard MPEG2 file. (this can be done in vcdeasy) After that is pretty easy, create a new bin/cue file with vcdeasy.

like mark said, if the only problem is the cuefile then there's no need to use vcdeasy at all, simply rewrite you own cue which is very simple.

if the problem is with the mpeg, then there are many ways to extract the mpeg

Daemon Tools will play the .BIN file without a cue sheet. And yes it even retains the chapter info. Simply Change "Files of Type" to read "all files". And then use your favorite "burn" program to Disc-Copy.
