2 audio tracks selected etc. - but only 1 ends up being in the .cue file?

Hi guys,


I recently tried to rip and convert "Above the clouds" (PAL) with the English as well as the Spanish audio track using DVD2SVCD 1.0.9.3. Everything went well, both audio streams were extracted, converted etc. But then, when I checked the .cue files via Daemon Tools, the only option avilable had was the English track. No Spanish in sight. (I use WinDVD 4.0) I then went through the whole process again using DVD2SVCD 1.0.6.3 and everything went fine. (If there's any use for this, I still have the log file of the successful try...)

Now the same happened to me again, this time with "Ice Age" (PAL) and German and English audio tracks. This time it only plays the German one, I assume cause of me having chosen it as audio track #1. Funny enough, when I open the muxed file directly in WinDVD it plays the English (and only the English) audio track.

Okay, now, I know, there's a new version of DVD2SVCD out there, I should probably use that one. But still, I'd like to know, am I doing something wrong here, in general? Or is it something about the 1.0.9.3 release?

I use Win 98 SE.

Hello!

If you play the mpg only in WinDVD, you can´t switch between audio (even if two tracks are muxed). But if you play the SVCDy you should be able to change it. According to your log it seems that your encode went fine.
So please excuse my question ;): Do you know how to change the audio in WinDVD for a SVCD, or have you have you ever succesfully changed it for a SVCD?

Naw, I know how to switch languages, this is like my 20th encode. And I watched em all in WinDVD or PowerDVD. I was only mentioning the mpg bit, to demonstrate that the English part didn't get lost entirely, just on the .cue file. I once thought it might be only an issue I had when virtually running the .cue in Daemon Tools, but also a burned CD-R copy only contained one language track. Very odd...
