The dvd has 7 vts sets.
vts 1 has menu, extras, and fbi warning
vts 2 is previews/trailers
vts 3-6 an episode in each vts.
vts 7 opening and ending without credits
I dont care about the menu, previews/extras. I just want the epiodes in vts 3-6, with japanese audio and english subtitles. The problem is after i rip english audio with dvd decryptor their still too big. So i experimented and found that each episode vts(3-6) is comprised of 5 chapters.
chapter 1- opening credits
chapter 2&3- actual episode
chapter 4- ending credits
chapter 5- preview of next episode
If i ripped chapters 1 and 4 from the episodes they would fit on 1 disc with enough room to leave the chapters in at least 1 episode vts. This is a problem though as i wont be able to tell when watching when 1 episode ends and the other begins.
Now what i want to do is put chapters 1 and 4 on the disc once and have them play for each episode. Would this require seamless branching? A branch for chapters 2,3,&5 for each episode. I need to preserve subtitles and chapters 2&3 arent exactly the same length in each vts (vary by a couple of seconds.
How would i do this, i dont need a menu although it would be nice and i'd probably have room. I got DVD Maestro, but can i do seamless branching?
Is their any way to do it without Re-authering. Will their be a problem with subtitles?
Please help me out ive searched the forums but they havent covered this. I have a lot of anime dvds wich are orginized like this (1 ep per vts set). Please help me out and point me to a guide(s) or give me some procedure to do this. Im quite new to backing up dvds (i got a burner 2 weeks ago) but ive already backed up 15 or so dvd's using ifo edit and dvd-decryptor, and ive read all the guides (though some of them make my head hurt).
