hello. I've got an adult DVD that i'm encoding to VCD using DVD2SVCD. I changed the option to have the output as mpeg 1 (on Misc. tab), and 'resized to vcd' (frameserver tab). The problem is, when i mount the CD Image in daemon tools, the video looks crisp enough, but after about 30 seconds its only displaying like 1 frame per second, and the audio is sporatic too, by either being nonexistant in some parts, or seemingly matched with a different scene.

i chose 'keep interlaced' for the rip (source of dvd is digital video).

Win98SE
Athlon 1700+

when i tried a week ago to simply rip one chapter and encode it, it seemed to work okay. I opened the MPG files that dvd2svcd made this time and they look just as they do once the CD image is mounted in PowerDVD...one frame per second.

what could be causing this?

Also, let us in on some more details, like what you used to rip the dvd.
