I tried to frameserve from flaskmpeg and from dvdx to cce with the premiere videoserver plugin, using multipass encoding in cce.

In both cases the frameserver runs the first pass till frame 178321 (out of 178344)and then stops with the message:

error writing wavfile

However, in my target folder I find a 1 GB+ audio_out.wav file.

What could be wrong here? It must be something with the frameserver as it happens both with flaskmpeg and dvdx, and also when frameserving to tmpg.

I finally managed to get rid of the "error writing wavfile" by setting the endframe in DVD2SVCD slightly below 178340.

CCE then started the second pass but immediately came up with a "CRC error" message. I then applied the CRC patch mentioned in the DVD2SVCD Q&A.

Now CCE ran the second pass, but at the start of the third pass I now got an error message saying it cannot find K:\IPCServer.mpv. I checked and this file is present.

It seems I'm going nowhere with this frameserver. I have read in the forum that the CRC error points to a hardware problem, but I don't believe that, as I never encountered this problem when encoding multipass with CCE, even frameserving to CCE from DVD2SVCD. I am convinced that the premiere videoserver plugin is to blame.
