How to ....

I have James Bond film ( die another day ) in XVid ( on two cd's ) and with each "sub". And I need to join then into one avi file (How can I do that ?). Then I will be using CCE to create a m2v file ( to put the result on DVD ).
About the subs they are in this format :

{4512}{4561}O que é isto ?|Eu era suposto...
{4725}{4762}Venha.
{5619}{5765}Quartel General do Coronel Tan-Sun Moon|Zona Desmilitarizada|Coreia do Norte

Is there any way of converting them to Maestro format ?
