Hello

I ever do movies with the guides of doom9 ( thanks ) but I have a new error message in ifoedit.

"INTERNAL ERREUR: additional data required but no free space in input buffer"

After this error, ifoedit continu but only with the video.

I use DVDdecrypter, DVD2AVI, Cinemacraft and Ifoedit for authoring.

Can you help me ?

Hi,

I've had the same weird problem. IFOEdit seems sensitive to the order of user actions in author mode. Here's how it works for me:

Choose the files (movie, sound, sup, celltimes, target) from top to bottom. After all the files have been set, change the language of the audio tracks and sups. Press <Tab> after you have chosen each language.

If I change the language of the audio track before including the sup, I will get the error you described.

I've also had this error message, only I get it when only muxing video, sound, celltimes, target and in what would appear to be the correct order, i.e. I do not include subtitles. I think the problem is related to the audio files as Ifoedit seems fussy on the audio files, as some are OK, others not?

Do we need to include a duumy subtitle to get round the error?

I had this happen with source that didn't have the angles removed.

About the angles, I don't know how removing it.

To remove angles in IFOEdit click on "VOB Extras" and select "Remove IIvu/angle point", then select the angle you want to keep.

NOTE: Some people have to use an earlier version of IFOEdit under Windows XP because in the last several versions this feature was "broken" I know 0.91 works under XP.

How can we see if a movie has multi-angles?

After you re-encode a movie with CCE before you strip the angles out you will have scenes in the video that "replay".

If this is the case, I hope you still have your original, as the video is now longer than the audio and you will need to reencode after you have stripped the angles out....


(I don't guarentee that this is your problem, it just sounds exactly like what happened to me. At least I still had a copy of the original!!!)

All very well, angles and all that, but I still have the error message with movie with one video stream (no angles).

I think sometimes it is possible to have video/audio/subtitle files which are not 100% compliant with what IfoEdit expects.

I have found that if I 'fix' the files before I use in IfoEdit, e.g. Besplit then I do not get the error!

It would be helpful though if someone could actually explain the meaning of the error.

I just demuxed a Movie (no angels) with vobedit and tried to author it back with IfoEdit. I get the same error as you.

I think it's an IfoEdit problem. Because these were the original streams of the movie. Unchanged.

Anybody a solution ?
