Backing up disney dvd's

I am currently backing up my disney dvd's. The movie itself i leave untouched (apart from stripping unwanted language/subtitle streams.

In the extra's usually there is some kind of game or scrapbook. If i try to rempeg these files the cffl file is read normally. When i start to encode rempeg stop after just 1 or 2 lines and says it is done. Offcourse this is in no way possible. It is true that these files are not a movie. I think they are a bitmap sequence of some sort.

Does anyone know of a method to reduce the size of these kind of extra's on disney dvd so i can leave them on the disc without having to rempeg the movie itself (which i wont so that would mean the extra has to go)

This problem is not related to Disney movies but related to Rempeg software.
Sometimes Rempeg makes the First, Second, etc, etc. VBR multipass at begining of transcoding process and then, after Rempeg transcodes the first GOP (GOP 0000) it shows the "Transcoding Done" message.
If you got this error, just exit all your Rmpeg windows (if you are encoding more than 1 movie at the same time), then delete the *.vinf file, open again Rempeg, open your vob file (or cffl file) and finally transcode again the vob(s) file(s) you want.
Sometimes you need to reboot your PC... and some times you need to close all other programs running on your PC.
I got this error only on P4 machines (got no idea why).
You're right, sometimes this error is produced when the first (or any other) GOP (GOP 0000) contains only a I frame, but not always this is the reason. I've found that Rempeg read the first GOP sometimes with errors (???).
Example:
GOP 0000 IPP
ETC...
but if you delete the vinf file and open the same vob file again you will find:
GOP 0000 I
GOP 0001 IBBPBBPBBPBBPBB
ETC...
Curious thing, right?
