ok... I got several divx's that i want to convert to vcd or svcd to play back on my dvd player. Now that problem I having is that when incoding with TMPGEnc. It does the movie fine but has no sound. I beleive this to be a divx problem. I have DivX Pro 5 02 Corporate Edition Dolby AC3 installed. I can't play these movies with out this codec. or get sound with out it. I was wondering if anyone has had the some problem and how they fix it.

I haven't use TMPGEnc very much at all, but you might want to take the audio out of the file and try inputing that instead. Or it could be that the audio is just in a format that TMPGEnc can't read so you may need to convert it before inputing it.

DivX has nothing to do with the Audio, Gore. It is a video-only codec.

If you haven't already read through them, Doom9 has a bunch of conversion guides (http://www.doom9.org/conversionguides.htm) that include audio transcoding steps...

This is not related to your problem but that version of divx is a hacked version. Did you get it from Kazaa or some other p2p? I would recommend you uninstall this and install the proper codec from divx.com. And then get the ac3filter from the download section of this site to play back your divx with ac3 audio movies.
