I picked up a IMAX movie, it has 2 streams of ac3 sound at different levels of codec per gknot. I have nothing that will play the sound, can't figure out how to remove the AC3s and convert them, and have installed every type of filter I could find that has anything to do with AC3. Any Ideas, the players I have are WM 6.4 and the new 9, tried it on the older version before 9 also, and the divx player.

That player will play it, when it first starts it's garbled, then it clears up and plays perfectly. I tried it again in the other standard players and they still won't work. WMP crashes when you try to open it, in both the older and the newer version. DivX will play the video but no sound at all, and the vidomi player is the same as the Divx. But this BS player works fine, thanks. Whatever is different in that player needs to be added at least to the Divx player. I know MS won't add anything they don't want to the WMP, but that would be nice also.

have you tried the ffdshow filters in connection with wmp/divx playa. it might be possible it then works with them too!
not sure though
bsplayer is a sweet @ss player anyway - IMHO of course, i'm using it for all my divx playback!

yes, I put the ffdshow filters in long ago, they fixed my display issues with xvid on my secondary monitor. I don't mind using different players but still prefer to have one player just play everything :)
