I am trying to split a DVD-9 to 2ea DVD-5s
Sopranos 2nd Season is broken out like this:
PGC1 = ID 1,4
PGC2 = ID 3,4
PGC3 = ID 2,4
The problem is that I need to split episode 2 or PGC 2 across two discs. I cannot split the DVD because IfoEdit clearly looks to IDs to do it's work even though you select the middle of PGC2 for the split.
What occurs is that you end up with PGC1 & PGC3 and half of the PGC2 on Disc 1 and the second half of PGC2 on Disc 2. It appears that the ID numbers being out of order causes IfoEDIT to change your desired result.
If the ID numbers had been aligned as such:
PGC1 = ID 1,4
PGC2 = ID 2,4
PGC3 = ID 3,4 all would have been fine...
In the past when dealing with discs like this I could strip IDs twice to get just the data I needed for a DVD-9 to DVD-5 because there was an EVEN number of PGCs (4ea)
But now I have to SPLIT a single PGC/ID onto two discs and the fact that the IDs do not run in the same numerical order as the PGCs is baffling IfoEDIT... All I can seem to do now is to split this DVD-9 to 3ea DVD-5 (one PGC per disc)
Any clue gentlemen...?
