View Full Version : AC3 import into Maestro/CCE method + offsets?

I followed the CCE/Maestro DVD-9 to DVD-5 Full copy instructions and have a question.

DoitFast4U rips the M2V and AC3 files and lists the AC3 time offset by milliseconds. Nowhere in Trilight's guide does it suggest we do anything with this information.

Is it automatically in sync when importing assets into DVD Maestro? Or do we still need to set the offset first?

Thanks,
Robert

TRILIGHT may say that Maestro will automatically sync the files, but I don't agree with that as the timecodes are no longer there to ensure this.

I use a combination of Maestro and AC3 Delay corrector to get the sync correct, as I have explained in other posts :)

It works fine as long as it's NTSC. The PAL users are the ones who have trouble.
