trying to add subtitles to a movie. Well i can do that no problem in maestro. The compiled product from Maestro has subtitles working perfectly fine and everything. The only problem is trying to re-intergrate my compile into the original DVD structure. Since it was a Multi-PGC source i had to use the IFOupdate tool Maestro PGC settings. I followed a tutorial i found on here, regarding that. By first importing my original and saving the chapter list for Maestro. Which seems to work fine. In fact IFOUpdate went flawlessly on the update from the original and the authored. No errors or anything. And when i copied all my original sources after into it to make my final image. The movie played (shocker). The only downside its not showing the Subs that im trying to insert. I tryed switching the VIDEO_TS files and between the 2, and still have not had success. Is there something im missing here? I can open the compiled vobs into any demuxer and rip out the subtitles in there, but the "structure" isnt recognizing it when i try it in my standalone or my Software dvd player when i try to turn the subtitles on. Any thoughts? help? pointers?

Since there were no subs in the original structure the ifo doesn't coantain any info about them.

To overcome this problem u should open the ifo in ifoedit, navigate to the PGCITI, to the pgc in question and paste the correct code in the subtitle stream. What the code exactly is I dont remember. I am always pasting from somewhere else.

I believe all of them r identical for each subtitle position. Just open one project that has one and paste it in yours.

U r informing the dvd structure that the pgc has one sub stream at the 1st position.
