this a question probably only someone who's got connection's to the DVD scene itself can answer:
is it likely that there will be a Box set of all three Lord of the Rings movies? i know this won't be in the near future, but something like mid 2005 or probably even later, but i want to know if it is likely that something like this will come out?

or is it smarter (price and content wise) to buy all three in their special extended editions anyway?

regards

im sure after all the lotr movies are out they will package them all together. then 4 or 5 months l8r they will have all 3 extended movies in a big box set for sell.
but i would say to get the extended versions as they come out rather then waiting for them all in one set.

PS: hate to wait to see the third part, i'd do almost anything to see it now ;)

How much more content is there to be seen?! :)

The special extended edition set of LOTR:FOTR is already the best DVD release ever! IMHO. And more than likely the one for TTT will be on the same great level.

I say go with the extended releases as they come out.
