View Full Version : Do i need to re-encode everything if i selected the wrong audio

...i made this mistake (wrong audio language) when i launched the process this mornin (was late to go to work) & i'd like to know the way (if any) to avoid the long video encoding again.
i thought maybe i could use .d2s file to recover something but i don't really know how to use it.:confused:

Hello!
You could try to
-start the conversion again (using another default output folder) to get your new encoded audio (make sure to choose the same bitrate for audio as before).
-as soon as video conversion starts, break the conversion.
-replace the audiofile of your first encode with your new audiofile
-recover your _first_ encode from muxing and cutting.

I have used the very method winxi states with success several times.
Just make sure of the "use a different directory" part or you will overwrite important files.

well in fact, i already re-started the whole process b4 reading your answers but i will try it to see if i can manage to do this properly :rolleyes:
