Being new to this area I am having big probs.:rolleyes:
I managed so far to do Tomorrow Never Dies, a multi pgc, with menu and movie only keeping original chapters. Great for me as I didn't want the extras anyway.
Now trying The World Is Not Enough (R2) and the difference here is that there is a PGC 1 (black still I think) before the PGC 2 (movie). Both in VTS_03 (only title set needed). This (again I think) is what is giving me the probs.
What I have tried so far is to get m2v/ac3 from DVD as movie is just small enough not to need re encode. Then I compliled and placed new vobs into original structure. Did get VTS sectors. It would play in PowerDVD, but not in IfoEdit dvd player or standalone.
What options do I have if I want to keep the original menu in such cases? Would it be enough to try and recreate PGC 1 and make sure it is present, so PGC 2 can be payed (if that is the problem)?
Or maybe rip menu m2v/ac3 and recreate the menu in Maestro?
Am I correct in thinking that IfoEdit will not process vts03 keeping all PGCs so I could strip subs/audio and then move those new vobs into the original structure?
At a loss, would like original menu but seems to much trouble to me so far.:(
