i gave my friend an xvid movie and he says that when he tries to play it in win media it will play, but every 5 sec or so it will pause for a sec and then continue. i wasnt sure what codecs he had so i only gave him the latest build of nic's xvid codec (so i think thats all he has installed). is there any other codecs he needs, or is there a way i can find out what codecs are needed to play the movie? sorry that i cant be more specific, but im posting this for a friend so im not exactly sure of his setup.
