Capturing question/problem

It seems when I am capturing from my VHS to ADVC-50 using either Scenalyzer or Vegas Video, I get these small white lines through the picture that appear every now and then. They are very thin and with Scenalyzer appear more infrequently then Vegas Video.

Anyone know if this is caused by software, or my VCR? The VCR isn't old but not really a name brand. Any help would be appreciated.

you need to be more descriptive, though I read EVERY thread here, a decent title would be cool. you wouldn't have a newspaper headline: 'News' or 'Important Story Breaking'

Have something like, white-lines apparent - capping VHS w/ADVC-50

ya, i should of been more specific in the topic.

after many days/hours of research and trial and error it came out to be the VCR was the problem with the white lines on the screen.
