hello

I am learning to rip with dvd2svcd and tmpgenc-free and CCE-SP 2.5.
But my rips get so ugly!
I have a shot here, w1.224.telia.com/~u22403007/666.jpg
(and the jpeg-compression is none so itīs not because of it).
Look above the CCE-banner, look how ugly areas with the same gets.
The whole movie is 84 minutes long, put on 2x800mb CDīs.

Is there any good filter I could use to get rid of this?

Please help me, Iīm getting crazy!!!

You could try to play with the "Image quality settings" in CCE, so to give more importance (more bits allocation) to "flat areas" encoding (I think you have to lower the "image quality settings" to achieve that)

Can you give more details on your current settings ?

I believe that itīs vice versa :)

You're absolutely right Winxi, sorry for the mistake. That's what happens when you think you know it all and don't check before speaking...
Thanks for correcting.
