Because I'm still having major problems with the chapter selection, I just can't seem to get my head around this.

I was wondering what "Merge Menu Tables" is for, I've experimented with a couple of ifo's that didn't have any menu commands but did have the chapters in and merged it with one that did have a menu table.

The menu loaded up ok but all buttons were disabled, so I couldn't play the movie, but the chapters worked.

Anyone else had any luck with this option.

Cheers

'Merge Menu Tables' is for when you use 'VOB Extras' and 'Menu Extras' on the same titleset.

For example, if you used 'VOB Extras' on files VTS_01_1.VOB through to VTS_01_5.VOB and IfoEdit created the VTS_01_0.IFO and then used 'Menu Extras' on VTS_01_0.VOB because this is where your menu is. IfoEdit will save over the VTS_01_0.IFO with another one, thus erasing all the information you changed that concerned VTS_01_1.VOB through to VTS_01_5.VOB.

So what you do, is you do a 'VOB Extras' and a 'Menu Extras' in 2 different directories, copy over your Menu VOB VTS_01_0.VOB into the directory that has the other VOBs then 'Merge Menu Tables' with the 2 VTS_01_0.IFO in the different directories.
